Mission statements are often seen in civil engineering offices on a wall or on cards on members’ desks. However, individual members are often unaware of the specifics of the mission statement in these same offices. Is it important for organization members to know the organization mission statement, and if so, what can the organization do to enhance the knowledge of the mission statement?
