1. Working with a partner, pretend that you are attending an event—a professional conference or some other networking event. In that context, prepare a 30-second crisp, concise self-introduction for someone who does not know you at all.

2. Deliver your introduction to one another.

3. Generate a few opening questions or remarks that could open a conversation.
