Got this free for my znTHU accounting course and it came way quicker than I thought so that was a nice surprise. The cover and pages feel good like not cheap or anything and the layout looks clean. Haven’t gone deep yet since exams are close and too busy but flipping through, it seems straightforward enough to follow though some parts might be a bit dry. Hope it helps with class work. Nothing flashy but a decent tool if you ask me. Happy the printing is good and the quality’s solid for a freebie so no complaints there.

I found about this free accounting textbook since it was recommended for my uni class here in Taiwan and honestly, it’s been pretty clutch. I had a rough time with the concepts of equity and share capital before the semester, everything just felt confusing and kinda jumbled. When I hit Chapter 8 — about Equity and Share Capital — my mood changed. The way the book breaks down this stuff doesn’t make it boring or just dry text but actually kinda sold the ideas well. It explains stuff like company stocks and reserves with clear diagrams, and this helped me understand how these parts actually show on financial statements, which was that real ‘ah, now it clicks’ moment for me. Actually, hearing the examples made it easier to connect theory to what business interns like me see in reports. The chapter pushed me to try interpreting statements in an internship lately, and I felt up to the task instead of lost like before. One thing though, I wish some terms were given even simpler definitions, especially at the start—it still throws somewhat technical language at you pretty fast. For that based on Taiwanese B2B accounting classes perspective, a bit friendlier explanations wouldn’t hurt. But overall it structured info well and stays mostly easy to read for something not bland. For anyone looking for straightforward help learning IFRS equity stuff without endless timers or crazy theory jargon, this free book is good to grab. Cheers to whoever picked it as a university staple here!

Needed this for my Asia pacific international university class and honestly it’s been pretty helpful so far. I got it for free, which is awesome, because it’s nice quality and feels like a proper textbook. Some chapters took me a minute to get through since the wording can be a bit technical, but the examples helped a lot to connect things with what we are doing in class. Not finished it yet but it’s enough to get my head around the basics of IFRS standards. I’m glad it arrived quick enough too, so no stress there. Worth grabbing if you’re in the course!

Bought this book for my accounting course and found it very helpful. The authors have done a great job balancing theory with practice through practical examples. Although some sections are dense, overall it's a comprehensive guide for any accounting student. Arrived slightly later than expected, but it was due to shipping delays, not the seller's fault. Still worth the buy!

This book serves as a solid introduction to accounting principles. While it does a great job of explaining the why behind the practices, there are moments when it feels like too much information at once. Despite that, the added 'real world' examples help make sense of complex topics. My delivery was smooth and the book was in perfect condition.

So this came on time and in solid shape which was nice, nothing messed up or crumpled at all. I got it free for my Bachelor of Science in Accounting studies and started checking out a couple of chapters. The writing is sort of clear and not too hard to get into even if some parts feel like you need to reread. It seems to hit the common IFRS rules well, which is what I needed for my class stuff. Not finished but so far pretty good and the paper quality is legit too, not cheap. Would definitely say it’s helpful when you want straightforward info without a million side notes.
