Was on the hunt for something to help me get over the hump with my accounting stuff, since classes were confusing me more than I'd like. Lucked out and got this book for free (really mean it) and started flipping through. Chapter 6, which talks about measuring and recording assets, really caught my attention. It’s the dreaded area where I was totally lost but reading that part, things finally made more sense. The way it breaks down things like depreciation using everyday examples made it stick in my head way better than boring lectures. What hit me the most was how linking numbers to actual real-life cash flow came through — I never thought it was that connected before. Afterward, I used what I learned to help with my side gig’s bookkeeping, and now tracking stuff feels less like a nightmare and more like a checklist I can handle. Not gonna lie though, some parts felt kinda wordy or too technical, especially around asset valuation methods. Maybe a little more laid-back writing or simplified charts would've helped that. But, for the most part, loved the flow and it never felt too jam-packed with junk. Honestly, free copy or not, this book was worth pulling off the shelf to sharpen up understanding. I’d tell anyone who struggles like me with concepts around assets to give that chapter a shot because it really turned the light on for me.

Was lucky to get this book for free which made me wanna check it out quick for my course ACCT 201: Fundamental Accounting Principles. So far it’s a really easy to read textbook and the real-world examples seem like they’ll help me get some of the tougher topics better. Haven’t made it past half but it looks clean and organized so that’s a plus when you’re cramming last minute. The paper quality is decent too, which surprises me for a free book. Definitely gonna keep using it, it’s already helping clear some stuff up that lectures didn’t. Glad I grabbed it!

I found Accounting Principles, 11th Edition to be a very helpful guide. It strikes a good balance between theoretical concepts and practical application. The case studies included offer real-world insights that can be applied in professional settings. However, a few sections could use more depth. Delivery was prompt, and the book was well-packaged. Would recommend it for anyone studying accounting.

Had been hoping to get my accounting book pronto for my class at zillotar and this one showed up way quicker than I thought, honestly. The cover feels solid and clean with no damage at all. Haven’t had much time to sit down with it properly since it arrived yesterday but flipping through a few pages, it seems easy to follow just from the clear headings and decent font size. It's free too, which is awesome for the budget. I’m feeling okay starting off with it – should help me get through the course easy enough once I find time for real study.
