I can't speak highly enough of 'Financial Accounting, 12th Edition'. This book is a treasure trove of knowledge and its layout is so user-friendly. Every concept is well-explained, and the real-world examples helped me grasp complicated topics with ease. It's also great that the book arrived ahead of schedule, well-packaged to prevent any damage. Highly recommend it for anyone taking an accounting course or anyone who wants to deepen their understanding in this field!

Got this free for my course ACC 201: Financial Accounting Principles and honestly it’s been pretty useful so far. The text is clear enough—doesn’t confuse me like some other finance stuff can and the explained examples kinda stick with you better than dry theory. Shipping was chill, came quicker than I expected which was a bonus since I needed it before starting. I haven’t gotten through all chapters yet but the parts I read helped me nail some homework questions. Good quality book for free, easy to read, and not too dense so worth grabbing if you’re in the course too.

Needed this for my Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting studies and it showed up sooner than I thought which was pretty sweet. Haven't dug into everything yet but the book looks solid and easy enough to follow so far. Didn't pay a dime since it was free, so can't complain!

Been flipping through this financial accounting book for my course ACCT 201: Fundamentals of Financial Accounting and so far it’s pretty clear and not too heavy, especially since it was free which is crazy helpful. some parts actually make sense without feeling like you need a finance degree already, so that’s a win. book looks clean and like it can handle some rough study sessions too. the quick setup was great since i needed it before classes started and no damages which impressed me since shipping can be hit or miss. gonna keep using it and see if it keeps being as easy to read as i expect.

Been on the lookout for something that wouldn't make accounting feel like rocket science and this book popped up in a course forum as a free option, so I grabbed it. I was kinda stressing over understanding the balance sheet a bit, especially how assets and liabilities dance around each other. When I hit Chapter 4 — which dives into the statement of financial position — it kinda flipped a switch for me. The book laid out stuff like current vs non-current assets with examples that actually felt relevant instead of textbooky jargon I usually zone out on. That chapter gave me one of those 'oh, okay, I get this now' moments, literally made me want to pause and re-read certain bits just because it started making sense. It also showed me the real-life importance, like in reading a company’s financial health before considering a summer job, which nerd alert, made me feel more confident and way less clueless when my friends poked fun at all that number talk. On the flip side, some pages had a ton of terms on one spread, which looked a bit crammed — might be tough for folks who aren’t used to accounting yet. But overall the explanations are chill and the little tables helped a lot. Totally recommend giving this one a chance if you’re fumbling around with financial info or just want a simpler intro without paying a dime.
