The book serves as a robust introductory guide to the world of object-oriented simulation of discrete event systems. As someone who's relatively new to the field of discrete event systems, I found this book to be incredibly useful. It strikes a fine balance between theory and practice, making it accessible for beginners while still being detailed enough for more advanced readers. The examples throughout the book are particularly helpful. The package came nicely wrapped, no damages at all. The only drawback is that some sections could use a bit more practical exercises to reinforce learning. It was great getting a small discount with my subscription too!
