The book serves as a robust introductory guide to the world of object-oriented simulation of discrete event systems. While it’s well-written and provides a good mix of theoretical foundations and hands-on examples, there are moments where the language gets a bit too technical for beginners. Despite this, I enjoyed the detailed case studies. Thanks to my membership, I received the book at a great price, and it arrived right on schedule. A worthwhile read for those ready to dive deeper into simulation.

This book is a gem for anyone interested in discrete event systems. The authors have done an incredible job breaking down complex concepts into digestible parts with clear explanations. The examples provided are not only relevant but also thought-provoking, which really help in grasping the methodology of object-oriented simulations. I ordered it expecting a lengthy shipping process, but it arrived faster than anticipated and in pristine condition! If you're looking to deepen your understanding of computer simulation in a practical yet comprehensive way, look no further.

As someone who's relatively new to the field of discrete event systems, I found this book to be incredibly useful. It strikes a fine balance between theory and practice, making it accessible for beginners while still being detailed enough for more advanced readers. The examples throughout the book are particularly helpful. The package came nicely wrapped, no damages at all. The only drawback is that some sections could use a bit more practical exercises to reinforce learning. It was great getting a small discount with my subscription too!
