Fourteen "disciples" of yoga guru Amrit Desai worked for Desai at his large "retreat center for holistic health and education," some for as long as 20 years. The disciples had given Desai much of their wealth and worked for him for very low wages as they attempted to follow his teachings of poverty and chastity. They sued Desai for fraud when they allegedly discovered that Desai had huge quantities of cash and assorted sexual relations over many years.
