(a) Population mean political ideology (on a scale of 1 to 7, where 4 = moderate) equals or differs from 4.0.
(b) Population proportion favoring affirmative action equals or differs from 0.50. For each part, write a one-page report showing all five steps of the test, including what you must assume for each inference to be valid.
