1. Resume Activity: In groups of three to five, each member should prepare a personal Conventional Resume following the guidelines found in this chapter.

There are also multiple resume books in your library to give you samples.

a. Make sure the information in each resume is true and updated for today.

b. Be sure that each resume includes either a qualifications summary, key word summary, or Areas of Knowledge (see samples in this chapter and in Chapter 14).

c. Determine whether each resume is chronological, functional, or combination? Was the best choice selected?

Once the resumes are complete, as a group, list and discuss two strengths and one possible weakness of each resume. Select the two "best"

resumes and be prepared to share them with other groups.
