a. Take the topics generated in Activity 7 (each topic should be on single strip of paper).

b. Put the topics into a large container or into four containers (one for each group) and stir them completely.

c. One at a time, and just before it is time to speak, each person will draw two topics from the container, look at the topics and decide which one they prefer to speak on—put the other topic back into the container.

d. Walk to the front and give a one to two-minute presentation. Begin with a brief attention-getter such as asking a question; make your topic clear;
give the body of your presentation usually one two main points is enough with at least one example; and end with a brief summary and conclusion.

e. Unless given other instructions, your answer may be humorous, serious, or pretend. However, the object is to give a smooth presentation with confident delivery.

f. Be sure to give applause after each presentation along with positive feedback.
