16.6 Getting Feedback on Your Résumé from a Professional in Your Desired Discipline/Industry (LO16.4, LO16.5, LO16.6, LO16.10)

Find a professional in the discipline and/or industry that interests you. Ask this person to review your résumé and give you feedback about the following:

(a) strength of your résumé in gaining the position you seek;

(b) advice for improving the résumé;

(c) areas of your résumé that may appear less credible or perhaps even exaggerated;

and

(d) advice for increasing career opportunities. Turn in the following:

A. Revised résumé.

B. Document detailing what you learned from the business professional and what changes you made to your résumé as a result.
