Your instructor may on occasion submit a proposal either to begin or to finish a research project. Assume that he or she has asked you to join in applying to a foundation to begin a research project on the general topic of the formal preparation needed for today’s executives.

Assume further that you have investigated the various private foundations in the United States and located one which has in the past funded educational research. In writing to the Development Foundation, you discover that it has specific requirements.
