Suppose a pet store is interested in surveying its customers and learning more about customers’ pet ownership, attitudes toward various types of pets and pet products, basic demographic information, and spending habits. Develop a measurement instrument, in which at least one example of the different types of measurement instruments (nominal, ordinal, interval, and ratio) can be found. At a minimum, your survey will contain 4 questions. Restrict your survey to no more than 10 questions.

Make certain that the questions you create are your own work, and do not duplicate questions found in this chapter. Where appropriate, check to be certain that response choices are mutually exclusive and categorically exhaustive.
