Of the remaining 301 plants, he grew pea plants that had peas with the distribution shown in the table for Exercise 8.3.17. (Note that most plants had peas with different characteristics. For example, 65 plants had some round-yellow and some round-green peas.) Do we have convincing evidence that the proportions of pea types are not distributed in this 1:2:2:4 ratio? Test as follows: 

a. State the hypotheses in words or in symbols. 

b. Calculate the test statistic, and p-value.

c. State your conclusion in the context of the research question.
