Humans are creatures who abhor a “meaning vacuum”; in the absence of clear communication they will draw conclusions, that is, attribute meaning to fill the void. This is something that an organization should try to avoid at a time of change, as all sorts of misconstructions might take hold and make change more difficult to achieve.
