When in conflict, one of my housemates always avoids everyone when she is upset, so we never know if she is upset at someone, or simply in a bad mood. It is hard to read her and we never know how to react, but yet she always expects us to understand how she is feeling. Those of us who live in the house are incessantly conflicted on what to do because we do not know how to respond to her avoidance.
