Let's imagine that she found two different sets of instructions online that can be used to reassemble a bike. She does not know which set of instructions is better for helping her to put together the bike quickly. (I actually took the bike to the bike shop to get it xed, but ignore that for now.) To nd out which set of instructions is better, she decides to conduct a study. She nds eight parents. Half of the parents are given one set of instructions and the other half of the parents are given the second set of instructions. Each parent gets an unassembled bike. She measures how much time is needed for each parent to assemble the bike using the instructions that she gives them. Thus, the scores below in the table are the number of minutes it took to assemble the bike. Answer each part of the question below using this scenario.
