2. David was an attorney. When his girlfriend Rachael became pregnant, David tried to hire a "hit man" to kill Rachael and the unborn child. The hit man turned out to be a police officer. David was convicted of two counts of solicitation of murder and sentenced to a long prison term. (He was disbarred, of course.) The baby was born and Rachel seeks an award of child support from the now-imprisoned David. David responds that he has no income in prison and no way to earn any.
