As I believe in continuous professional development, I successfully completed the Sad Business School, University of Oxford Artificial Intelligence Programme with an overall grade of 68% in June 23. I enjoy learning from others as well as mentoring junior colleagues for career enhancement.

Ive worked for network vendors and operators in the UK and abroad and have accumulated a wealth of knowledge, skills and experience having achieved the following:

For Alcatel Lucent worked collaboratively with the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications, incumbent network operator Teletalk / BTCL in Dhaka and Alcatel Shanghai Bell in China. Together produced business case, regulatory and technical documentation for loan justification. A government-to-government loan worth 211M USD was approved from the EXIM Bank of China. This financing enabled mobile and fixed network upgrade in Bangladesh. The overall project was implemented by Chinese Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC) in liaison with stakeholders.

Presented ZTE optical solution to BT technical team headed by chief architect Neil Macrae highlighting product features, roadmap and TCO reduction strategy. Successfully completed the first phase of EEs Radio Access Network upgrade for selected regions using optical backhaul solution. In liaison with EEs Operation team in Hatfield and R&D in China resolved multivendor network compatibility issues. This enabled further RAN upgrade for wider regions in the UK and the retention of EEs multivendor procurement strategy.

Established multiple international voice (TDM and VoIP) interconnects for Sunrise Wholesale in liaison with EWSD switch engineers, VoIP Media Gateway providers and far end carriers stakeholders. Managed end-to-end acceptance testing of TDM and VoIP services before handover to Operation. Also managed moves, adds, and changes (MAC) of voice services. For example, to save international leased line costs found cheaper providers and managed traffic migration mitigating service outages. Ensured as-designed were updated to as-built documents for effective SLA management by Operation. Competitive bilateral carrier-to-carrier voice contracts enabled cheaper calls in and out of Switzerland generating healthy revenue for Sunrise undercutting incumbent Swisscom pricing.

For Huawei influenced Swiss Data Centre customers tender formation process for infrastructure upgrade with a review of their business model, market trends for DC products and services, channel partnership development, SWOT analysis on DC infrastructure suppliers, TCO reduction strategy with option to outsource Operation. Coordinated and executed Proof-of-Concept test for optical interconnectivity and established the functionality, performance and compliance of access, aggregation and backbone network layers, its management system, protection mechanism and client services such as legacy SDH, GBE, FC and InfiniBand for SAN. As a trusted professional designed optimum solution in liaison with customers Belgacom consultants, Huawei SME and local stakeholders. Supported project manager with the installation, commissioning and acceptance testing of OTN - WDM platform until successful handover to operation.

Established network to network interface (NNI) between TDC Denmark and Sunrise Communications core routers and subsequently provisioned MPLS-VPN services for Carlsberg Feldschlossen multiple sites in Denmark and Switzerland with QoS. This was a data migration project which replaced Swisscom provided services.

The utilisation of dark fibre along Swiss SBB railway tracks and over the national electric grid for a cost-effective fibre backbone with route diversity. However, the Access fibre network, also known as Fibre To The Premises or FTTP, is critical to reach high-value customers. The key driver behind its expansion and monetisation is the cost / meter for network build as digging is expensive in dense urban areas. Managed site surveys, quotations, contractors, access fibre dig, pulling fibre into basement, splicing, termination, OTDR testing, installation and commissioning of active equipment for service provision in close liaison with field engineers and NOC.

Built high capacity BT- Sunrise Communications optical backbone interconnect for service handover. Also built numerous cost-effective points of presence (PoP) throughout Switzerland bringing BTs Pharmaceutical customers such as Novartis and others on-net. This partnership enabled BTGS provide differentiated services to their customers undercutting incumbent Swisscom pricing while taking advantage of their lack of business agility due to bureaucracy.

Gained extensive experience in gathering carrier wholesale customers technical and commercial requirements and translated these into fully costed solution with high-level design (HLD). Worked with accounts, finance, contract, product management, 3rd party suppliers and subject matter experts (SME) ensuring cost of sales, contract duration, pricing, profitability, low-level design (LLD), technical specification and ready for service (RFS) date were clearly scoped before a solution is ready for implementation. For some key high-value accounts, worked as presale solution and post-sale order delivery manager ensuring a) service transition to operation on time and within budget, b) adherence to technical specification, c) as-designed documents correctly updated to as-built documentation for effective SLA management by Operation.

Experience in managing multiple Sunrise carrier wholesale projects concurrently underscores my ability to handle conflicting demands, prioritize workload, mitigate risk, collaborate effectively and make informed decisions. To work at pace involves maintaining an unwavering dedication to meeting deadlines while simultaneously ensuring adherence to the desired benchmarks of quality. On average data related wholesale services generated revenue in excess of 50M CHF /Year.
