It is desired to separate the crude mixture of a mineral into three fractions: coarse material (retained on an 8 mesh Tyler sieve), intermediate fraction (which passes through the 8 mesh sieve but is retained on the 14 mesh sieve), and fraction fine (which passes through the 14 mesh sieve). The granulometric analyzes of the feed and the three fractions (coarse, medium and fine) are shown in Table 1 Assuming that the analyzes are accurate, calculate the weight of each fraction obtained per ton of feed.
