The factory is organised in teams of 10 workers hence all measurements are team-based. He collected the following data for this purpose:

Team 1 to 20

PRODUCTION:

Production volume for each team (units per day)

EXPERIENCE:

Average sewing experience in each team (years)

AGE:

Average age of workers in each team (years)

SHIFT:

1 means day-shift

0 means night-shift

GENDER:

1 means team leader is male

0 means team leader is female

The dataset can be found in the below. The production is the dependent variable and the other variables are independent variables.

(a)Describe the relationship between production and the four (4) independent variables by writing down the linear equation. Interpret the coefficients to show how each of the independent variables impact the production. You are required to present the relevant Excel report.

(b)Mr Zhang had just formed a new day-shift team to be led by a newly promoted supervisor Mrs Rosalinda. The average age of workers in the team is 30 years old and they have an average of six years sewing experience. What is your estimate of the team's production?

(c)Interpret the coefficient of multiple determination and the adjusted coefficient of multiple determination. Explain which is a better measure in this case. You are required to present the relevant Excel report.

(d) Execute hypothesis tests to advise Mr Zhang which variable(s) is/are significant at the 5% significance level. Write down your steps carefully.
