Assuming a total access of 6.144MB (1MB = 10^6 bytes) and random accessedl that is the sectors are randomly distributed across all tracks.
Determine the Total Average Read or Write Time for the disk in terms of milliseconds.

I'll be honest I know how to do the first part (randomly distributed) but I thought I would just write it down anyways. I can't seem to figure out how to do the sequentially distributed part.
I think the answer is something like 194m/s but I'm not sure how to get there.
The formula is ..
Ttotal = Ts + (1/2r) + (b/rN)
= average seek time + rotational delay + transfer time
you just have to make sure to also convert correctly.
