Business-to-Business (B2B) Marketing counts on being able to successfully provide value when promoting one product as part of another business' creation of a product for their customers.
Student sometimes have a hard time understand what we refer to as the value chain. It is the concept that one business provides a product to another business (their customer) which creates value for their business customers for which that business customer can charge more (or potentially the same with less costs) because their product has increased in value.
This 'chain' of value is how we often consider the importance of B2B marketing. AJ Jacobs in his TED Talk My Journey to Thanks All the People Responsible for my Morning Coffee looks at the value chain from a different perspective - in gratitude.
For this Discussion Topic, I want you to describe what value a specific Alberta-based B2B company provides to their business customers. Pay special attention to who is their business customer and does that value provide an opportunity for them to increase their product price or decrease the cost of creating / delivering the product.
