Choose a topic you wish to study with readily available numerical data (normally distributed continuous scale or ratio data) and at least 1 grouping variable (usually a nominal variable with at least 3 categories). Pick out at least 3 independent variables (better to pick more than three in case you have to delete one), 1 dependent variable, and one grouping variable. Make sure your data set for each calculation has at least 50 usable observations after treatments for missing data, outliers, and multicollinearity have been applied.
Create a regression model to analyze the hypothesized causal relationships between independent and dependent variables. Your model must have at least 3 numerical (scale or ratio) independent variables and the dependent must be continuous for this section (logistic regression may be used in part 4, but not here). Categorical independent variables may be included as dummy variables but will not count as one of the three required continuous independent variables. Correctly state your null and alternative hypotheses. Choose the correct statistical technique to analyze the data, conduct the analysis, then present and explain your results.
