Complete the worksheet below by responding to the questions and completing the schedules for the three types of depreciation. Each of these schedules is shown in your textbook. I have not made them up. Please refer to your textbook to see how these schedules are supposed to be filled out. The first line dated 1/01/16 does not require any work from you. Your work begins on the line labeled 12/31/16. Your work must be readable. See the rubric for instructions on how to display your final answers. For each of these calculations, just showing numbers will constitute showing your work if you complete the sections above the first two tables and you utilize the schedules columns as they are laid out. For the third schedule, you will need to change the depreciation amount for the third year, and you will need to show your work for determining what that amount should be. Just showing numbers does not constitute showing your work here, you need to give the formula you are using in words and then show substitution. Crackling Fried Chicken bought equipment on January 2, 2016, for $21,000. The equipment was expected to remain in service for four years and to perform 3,600 fry jobs. At the end of the equipment's useful life, Crackling's estimates that the equipment will have a residual value of $3,000. The equipment performed 360 jobs the first year, 1,080 the second year, 1,440 the third, and 720 the fourth year. Requirements 1. Prepare a schedule of depreciation expense, accumulated depreciation, and book value per year for the equipment under the three depreciation methods. Show your computations. Note: Three depreciation schedules must be prepared. SOLUTION Depreciation - Group Work
