Estella was a wealthy heiress who lived in the village of Wallington.

She died last month and her will contained the following provisions:

  1. 100,000 to Bob, my faithful butler, to look after my cats.
  2. 500,000 to the Wallington council to ensure that a suitable memorial is built and maintained at the entrance to Wallington, in my honour.
  3. 300,000 to ABC Ltd to make sure my memoirs are published
  4. 50,000 to Alex to build a monument in memory of our late father and 200,000 to maintain it.

Estella left the residue of her estate to her brother Alex who has been named as executor of the estate in Estella's will.

Advise Alex using legal cases and law on the validity of each of the above provisions in Estella's will.

The provisions are based on non-charitable private purpose trust
