Of all the concepts explored, I would have to say:

• PV, FV, and Payback Period are my number one.
• Beta would be my number 2
• Interpreting financial statements is my number 3

The reasoning is there are times that I like to take risks and other times that I do not. But I always want to know what the risk is. PV, FV, and Payback Period are things that I deal with on a daily basis in my personal and professional life. That is why they are my number one. I like to look at company Beta before I look at other factors when it comes to investing. As for number 3 on my list, it takes me back to accounting and how it goes hand in hand with finance. You have to know and understand both to have the full picture and make decisions.
