2. Stable-Order Principle: The count words assigned to each item are chosen in repeatable order.

3. Cardinal Principle: When counting an array, the final number represents the number of items in a set.

4. Abstraction Principle: Any group of items whether physically present or not, whether of the same type of not, can be counted.

5. Order-Irrelevance Principle: The order of enumeration of items in a set (which is "1", and which is "2") does not affect the number of items in the set or the counting procedure.
