For current event articles, a great website for California issues specifically is www.rtumble.com(Links to an external site.). You will find that this site will give you links to stories as well as organize the stories by content. You can be creative when it comes to finding current event stories--as long as they are at least broadly related to what has been discussed in lecture.

Since you cannot control when news happen, I suggest you look at the topics for all of the discussion posts for the class and then keep an eye out for any story related to these topics.Remember your story cannot be more than 6 months old. Followthe posting directions that are listed in the syllabus!
