Based on my experience, a definition of a transformational leader is Oprah Winfrey. I chose her because Oprah is robust, honest, tenacious, and endowed with the capacity to persuade. She runs a long-running chat program, started her television network, and controls many charitable endeavors. She is determined and headstrong. Our lives are transformed for the best by transformational leaders like Oprah. Their decisions are based on the tenet that what counts most is how others are affected, whether they profit, how high they can be raised, and whether they can be empowered.
Being a transformational and authentic leader is different because transformational leaders are particularly interested in turning their people into leaders. While authentic leaders encourage followers to be honest, build long-lasting connections with them, and persuade them to do so. Since it strongly emphasizes decency, morality, and openness, authentic leadership is frequently regarded as the ultimate standard. While encouraging team members and fostering change are the main objectives of transformational leadership.
