We often hear the phrase, "a picture is worth a thousand words." Our facial expressions can tell a whole story about us without having to use any words. Identifying nonverbal communication through facial expressions can help us to better understand what a person is feeling.

Watch and play along with the Unit 2 Discussion Activity:"Quiz on Facial Expressions 2" video. This video will show various human facial expressions with several possible answers as to what each one might mean. A few seconds after the expression appears the correct answer will be displayed. See how many you can guess before the answer is revealed keeping in mind that facial expressions can often be hard to interpret.
