I agree that implementation is the most challenging state in strategic management. This is the transition period between taking an idea and making it a reality. I think a part that people truly underestimate in these processes is how many people will be needed (teamwork) and how difficult that can be. As we have learned in other classes in this MBA program, people communicate differently, and this can cause issues. It takes a very seasoned leader and team to understand the importance of this and with everything that goes through the implantation phase, poor communication can result in serious issues. Something that I believe can help in this is having a good work backward plan and involving stakeholders early. This is by no means foolproof, but it is a start
