I desire to work in a health care setting that challenges me and prioritizes health equity. I desire a work environment that promotes learning and professional development through training and constructive criticism. A workplace that prioritizes growth of a team rather than fostering a cutthroat environment. A common strategic goal for that setting would be professional development monitoring and assistance. Another strategic goal would be team building promotion. To create an environment that challenges employees a strategic goal would be to encourage employee feed back and enable new opportunities. Three performance management measures that may be used to measure progress to achieve a goal are self-evaluations, peer reviews, and duties and functions checklists (indeed.com, 2023). The corresponding strategies to achieve a goal are honest reviews of self-evaluations with limited negative consequences for honest feedback, team building activities that encourage open and honest conversations about performance, and thorough list building and completion time and workshops
