I need help answering the above questions about the following discussion post: 

Panasonic: Strength is least crosstalk, clear color, and clear deep black. Weakness is the high price, 3-D from angle, flicker, and the glasses are ugly and uncomfortable. Opportunities having great picture quality in comparison to most of the competitors, they can improve on the flicker and 3-D angle to justify the high price. Threats are the LG TV at a much lower price, with similar picture quality, slightly better clear color and better, rechargeable glasses.

LG: Strength is price and least cross talk, clear color, and clear deep black. Weakness is the 3-D from angle and flicker. Opportunities, being they have superior image quality, to improve the 3-D from angle and flicker. No threats.

Sony: Strength is 3-D from angle and flicker, along with comfortable glasses and least cross talk. Weakness is mediocre clear color and clear deep black and the high price. Opportunities are to improve on image quality. Threats are the Panasonic and LG models having superior quality and better value for price.

Samsung: Strength are the glasses are light to wear. Weaknesses are high price, and poor image quality across the board. Opportunities include improving image quality to justify high price. Threats are all three competitors since they offer better products for less money.

 

Customer Analysis:

In my customer analysis I found that the potential buyers for the 3-D TV is someone of high-income demographics and as far as psychographic, being interested in a premium television so that they could have 3-D cinematic features at home. 3-D TVs' are a premium product and are significantly more expensive than traditional flatscreen TVs. The consumers are not budget buyers, but still want to make sure they get the best value for their money. Looking at the specifications and attributes offered by the four competitors, the LG TV offers the best value for the consumer.

 

Competitor Analysis:

In my competitor analysis, I found that the Samsung TV is the riskiest to buy, due to the high price and mediocre picture quality and features. The attribute that was least informative across the board was Plasma vs LCD.  Among the four competitors, the LG TV is clear winner, with superior picture quality, rechargeable USB glasses and the cheapest price tag of $1,850, which is miles below the competition.
