• You must read the following article:

• Select one of the five contemporary sociological currents discussed in the module to write an argumentative essay where you explain the social problems discussed in the reading. The contemporary sociological currents are:
  • functionalism
  • Conflict theories
  • feminist sociologist
  • symbolic interactionism
  • Ethnomethodology
• The essay must have at least five (5) paragraphs, each with five (5) complete sentences. The structure will be the following:
  1. One (1) Introduction paragraph - Where you present the purpose of the task to be carried out, integrate the definition of sociology and mention its importance in the evolution of society.
  2. Three (3) Development paragraphs - Where you explain, according to the selected theory, the social problems presented in the reading.
  3. One (1) Conclusion paragraph - Where you express your opinion of the reading and the importance of the selected theory in the evolution of society and current social problems.
  4. References - Include the assigned reading and if you wish to consult anything else to support the topic.
