Killgrave has escaped. Jessica has turned to Scott Lang for safety. She is smoking in bed and listening to the news. The news anchors are reporting Killgrave's escape from The Raft, but they are also complaining about the fact that the superheroes headquarted in New York -- The Avengers and The Fantastic Four --aren't around to deal with Killgrave and keep New York safe.

Are these complaints legitimate? Should the first repsonsibility of the superhero be to defend their home town? How responsible are superheroes for preventing collateral damage to their cities? How far are we, "the regular citizens" and readers, responsible for the actions of supervillains through our adortion of the superhero?
