Lencioni five dysfunctions of a team are Lack of Trust, Fear of Conflict, Lack of Commitment, Avoidance of Responsibility, and Inattention to Outcomes. All of these team dysfunctions can destroy a project from it being successful. One dysfunction that can destroy a team is Lack of Trust. If there is no trust within the team then there is not team work or successful productive projects coming out of the business. When there is a loss of trust or even faith among team members, it makes it hard for anyone to open up in front of each other. There would be a fear of speaking up and being vulnerable in front of everyone and being judged or getting made fun of. Team members would be afraid to bring forth ideas or even make mistakes. Trust and security needs to be the focus with the team members. Cooperation is the key to having a successful team and a team that makes each other feel like they are valued. A toxic workplace will lead to poor productivity
