Imagine that you intern for the newly elected city councilwoman for Chicago's 23rd Ward who campaigned on health care reform. Assuming the data show that a substantial number of young adults (aged 20-29) in her district does not have a reliable means of communication, she would like to prevent another widespread catastrophe like the COVID-19 pandemic. Unlike the older constituents who tend to own their own homes and have residential telephone lines, this younger population are more transient and provide contact information of their family members or close friends to providers, making them extremely challenging to track. Make a policy analysis that includes two to four leadership and/or followership options to motivate others toward accomplishing the patient-centered health informatics vision you think the councilwoman should take.
