My current place of employment and internship is with Holland & Knight, a distinguished international law firm. I am part of the Real Estate Capital Markets division, which focuses on a diverse range of real estate transactions such as financing, acquisitions, and leasing. My responsibilities as a legal secretary involve providing administrative support to an Equity Partner, four associates, and two paralegals.

Thus far, my experiences have proven to be both valuable and demanding. My daily tasks encompass a variety of duties including, but not limited to, assisting attorneys with time entries, organizing travel arrangements, handling check requests, billing, collections, invoices, reimbursements, calendaring new matters, conducting conflict checks, preparing engagement letters, drafting scope letters, managing electronic filings, organizing files digitally, and performing preliminary research on zoning regulations. These responsibilities have allowed me to develop a greater understanding of the legal intricacies inherent in real estate transactions. This role necessitates meticulous attention to detail to ensure that all documents meet the firm's stringent standards prior to client presentation.

In summary, beyond my administrative duties, I aspire to enhance my ability to efficiently assist my team in reviewing and preparing legal documents related to multi-million dollar commercial real estate transactions they manage on a daily basis.
