1: Is the distribution channels the most crucial channel that you will see are those of grocery stores when it comes to perishable items like fruits and vegetables? Large grocery stores a lot of the time have their own growers or whatever the item might be.

2: Amazon has majority of the channels in place for any consumer to receive their items worldwide. It also provides retailers from far or close areas an ability to get their products in the hands of the consumers due to the channels in place. Since amazon has multiple channels readily available it alleviate a retailers distribution channel concern. How does Amazon makes so much money yet has most likely a sizable amount of cost in the distribution channels, suppliers and agents.
