A hanging Pith ball is charged by conduction with a charged pith ball on a wand so that each initial has the same charge. The charged wand pith ball is then placed at the designated radius. The electrostatic force has been analyzed from the angle of deflection of the hanging pith ball. To charge the charge on the hanging pith ball a neutral pith ball on a wand is touched with the hanging ball. They share charge thus the hanging pith ball now has half the original charge.
