For example, if you spend 20 hours on classes and a total of 40 hours on all activities, classes take up 50% of your total time (20/40= 0.5) Use the SUM function to calculate the total number of hours you spend on all activities in a typical week. Set a goal for the percentage of your total time that you want to spend on each activity. For example, you might want to spend 30% of your time on classes, 20% on studying, and so on. Use the Goal Seek feature to adjust the "Time Spent (hours)" for each activity so that it aligns with your desired percentage of total time. To do this, select the cell containing the percentage for each activity and then go to the Data tab and click on the "What-If Analysis" button.
