Workers are paid $20,000 each two week pay period (assume each pay period contains ten work days, so wages are $2,000 per work day). 1) On May 8th, the firm paid $20,000 in wages for work done during the period April 25th May 8th. $8,000 relates to work done during 4 work days in April. The remaining $12,000 relates to work done during 6 work days in May. 2) On May 22nd, the firm paid $20,000 in wages for work done during the period May 9th May 22nd. 3) On June 5th, the firm paid $20,000 in wages for the pay period May 23rd June 5th.5 work days in this pay period relate to May and 5 work days relate to June. Record the journal entries the firm should make on May 8th and on May 22nd, and the adjusting journal entry the firm should make on May 31st. Make sure to provide the date and brief explanation for each entry
