The sodium ethoxide product stream needs to be heated to a temperature of $150C$ using a

shell and tube heat exchanger by passing both sodium ethoxide and steam streams into it$.$ In

order to reach this temperature, both streams must be controlled in flow rate. In addition, a

valve should also be placed on the shell part of the heat exchanger for the purpose of emptying

the residual liquid.
