PROJ595: Stakeholders & Risk Management

How does a project manager identify stakeholders for a project? How does a project manager involve these stakeholders in risk management?

Please answer the question from an academic and scholarly level. If a reference is used (preferred) can you please elaborate or frame the response based on the references used and why. My reasoning for asking is to use the source as a study guide to further understand the concept (s) and how to apply them.
