Question 3 Ammonia gas ( A ) and nitrogen gas ( B ) are diffusing counterdiffusion through a straight glass tube 0 . 6 1

Question 3
Ammonia gas (A) and nitrogen gas (B) are diffusing counterdiffusion through a straight glass tube
0.610m long with an inside diameter of 24.2mm at 298K and 101.32kPa as shown in Figure 1.
Both ends of the tube are connected to large mixed chambers at 101.32kPa. The partial pressure
of NH3 is constant at 20kPa in one chamber and 6.666kPa in the other. The diffusivity at 298K
and 101.32kPa is 2.3010-5m2s and R=8314m3.Pakgmol. K. Determine:
(a) The diffusion of NH3
(b) The diffusion of N2
