reply to From the video, Tolbert (2016) discusses how agile project management can be used as an advantage in a market that is facing globalization and technological advances. There are pros and cons to the agile project management method. The pros to the method are that it fosters more communication/collaboration, allows you to change more on the fly, and there is faster feedback. The cons to the method are that there is potential for scope creep, schedule can be on a delayed, and dependent on the project team. There are other project management methods such as the waterfall approach that is a linear sequential approach. One of the main differences between the waterfall approach is that there is less flexibility once the project is started because there is very detailed upfront planning. The agile approach works in short development cycles, so it is not dependent on the previous stages of the project. While one approach is not necessarily better than the other, most projects use a hybrid combination of different methodologies
