Review the revenue cycle as described below and document it using an E-R diagram that is based on the REA data model:

At the Safari Sporting Goods (SSG) downtown gallery, individual and corporate customers email, phone, or just walk into the store, select merchandise, and make decisions on whether to buy the items they desire. Customer requests are entered into the system by the stores sales representatives. If the items purchased are available, customers pay for their purchases and leave the store with their items. If the items are not available at the store, individual customers are asked to come back at a later date when the items will be available. If the items are requested by a corporate customer, the order is entered in the system, and a notification is sent to the shipping department. A shipping clerk retrieves the necessary items from inventory and then packs and ships each sale at a later date. SSG only ships complete orders; if an item is temporarily out of stock, the system notifies the sales representative who informs the customer that the entire shipment will be delayed. These corporate orders are billed when shipped. When the computer system prepares an invoice for a corporate customer, it also sends a notification to accounts receivable. Corporate customers may pay in full each sale separately or they may wait until receiving a monthly statement summarizing all purchases made the prior month. The gallery only accepts payment with check or electronic funds transfers (EFT).
