Running Head: VALUES, MISSION AND VISION STATEMENT Values, mission and vision statement Name Institution Date Running Head: VALUES, MISSION AND VISION STATEMENT My values are accountability, quality, Decisiveness, integrity, availability, accuracy and efficiency. My vision is to transform the life I have from living to winning. My mission is to enhance my self-worth as well as stature together with contribution towards all the significant stakeholders of my life through refining my life personally as well as professionally together with spiritually so as to create a win and win endeavor for all. The values for the organization I wish to work for are leadership which is the courage to shape a better future, collaboration which is leveraging collective gains, integrity which is being real, accountability, passion, diversity and quality. Their mission is to create values as well as make a difference and to inspire moments of happiness through their products and activities. Their vision is to be an inspiration to each other to the best they can through providing a great place to work. Their other vision is nurturing a winning network of partners as well as building mutual loyalty. They also have a vision of making a difference through helping in building and supporting sustainable community. I found out this information by going through their website in order to familiarize myself with what they deal with. It was an easy task finding about the values, the vision and the mission of the company that I wish to work for because everything else that workers and other stakeholders need to know concerning them is just posted in the website and can be found with ease because each single aspect which us of importance has been emphasized. Running Head: VALUES, MISSION AND VISION STATEMENT Does your value, vision, and mission statement align with the organization's values, vision, and mission (VVM) statement? Why or why not? My values, vision and mission all align with the organization's values, vision and mission. My values of accountability, integrity and quality align with the organizations values because they also believe in what I do. My vision is to transforming my life from living winning also align with their vision of nurturing a winning network of partners and creating mutual loyalty. My mission also aligns with the organization mission which is to create values as well as make a difference and to inspire moments of happiness through their products and activities. The aligning of my vision, values and mission to the organization will serve to ensure that I get to understand where to focus my efforts in. it will also encourage the customers to do business with the organization. How effective are the organization's values, vision, and mission? How does it inspire you (or not) to be an effective supervisor and plan for the future? The organization's values serves as a compass for the actions that it undertakes. It is also a description of the way the organization behaves in the world. The vision statement is effective because it talks about people, partners and stakeholders as a whole and the environment (Haimann & Hilgert, 1972). Their mission is very effective due to the fact that it declares the organization's purpose as well as serving as the standard where actions together with decisions are made. The effectiveness of the organization's values, vision and mission inspire me to be an effective supervisor and planning for the future by showing me that I have a possibility of making decisions that support the values visions and missions of the organization. Running Head: VALUES, MISSION AND VISION STATEMENT How does knowing one's values, vision, and mission, and that of the organization help to be a better supervisor Knowing ones' values helps one to be a better supervisor because individual values reflect of the way someone shows up in life and the principles that an individual lives by as well as what someone considers significant for their interest. The organizational values reflect how the organization shows up as well as operates in the globe. Knowing one's mission and the organization's mission helps one to be a better supervisor because it defines the purpose of the company and its primary objective and the supervisor can know what to center on during work (Cornes, 2015). Individual and organization visions are so helpful in improving an individual's supervisory skills. Visions define the purpose of the business and they also focus on the goals as well as future aspirations thus the supervisor is given directions to follow during supervisory work. I have learnt that values, vision and mission of both an individual and the organization are so important. This is because they are the ones that define an individual and the organization, they are charged with defining the purpose as well as the direction that an individual and the organization should follow.
