For this section of the assignment you will use the Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS) website to look at data from the FBI's Uniform Crime Reports (UCR) and National Incident Based Reporting System (NIBRS). The FBI is currently transitioning from the old UCR summary reporting system (SRS) to the more detailed NIBRS. The data you will be analyzing may therefore be drawing from both data sets.

Start by navigating to the FBI's Crime Data Explorer page(Links to an external site.) (https://crime-data-explorer.fr.cloud.gov/). Scroll down, make sure the United States is selected as the geographical region and press GOnext to Data Collections (you should see this image before clicking Go).
